The Auckland Property Investors' Association, APIA, was established in 1994. It is a non-profit organisation developed to provide an opportunity for property investors to network, learn and become more professional. The Auckland Association is one of 15 throughout the country and has quickly grown into the largest associations in the New Zealand Property Investors' Federation with over 1,000 members. Here are five great reasons to become a member: - Improve your profitability and spend less time on your investments
- Get a tax deduction from your membership fee
- Access the experience of hundreds of property investors
- Receive free publications and discounts on related products and services
- Increase your property knowledge through expert guest speakers
Passionate about Apartments? We need you! APIA needs the volunteer services of a convenor to run our monthly special interest Apartment Investors Group meetings. These meetings are well established and have a loyal group of attendees each month who meet to share ideas and information specific to the Apartment market. The current convenor is available to complete a handover to a new person. We have an operations manual to guide the new convenor also. The meetings are one evening per month in the central city, from 7.00pm-9.30pm generally. The convenor is responsible, with assistance from APIA staff, for locating interesting speakers, and facilitating the meeting on the night (receiving entry fees, introducing speakers, encouraging question and answer sessions). A board member will also attend to support the convenor. Your subscription to APIA is complementary for the period that you are a convenor. If you are interested in this role, please email admin@apia.org.nz. |
